Free checks of tyre pressure, tracking, tread, brakes and exhaust pipes are carried out by independent tyre specialists Wealden Tyres at their premises on the Bellbrook Industrial Estate in Uckfield.

The company knows the importance of tyre safety and wants to make it easy for customers to keep theirs in tip top condition.

It offers tyres from a wide range of manufacturers and impartial advice on the ones that will best suit your vehicle whether that is the family car or commercial vehicle.

Other branches can help with tyres for agricultural and industrial vehicles too.

Wealden Tyres also offers full car servicing and replacement of wiper blades, bulbs, brakes and exhausts.

“We’re all about being helpful and if work needs doing then we charge a fair price for the job,” said manager Sam Clarke, pictured above left, with mechanic Aaron Carr.

“We want every customer to leave here happy even if they have only been in for advice,” he added.

Extended opening hours have been introduced on a Thursday until 8pm to help people working full-time.

Opening hours are:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 8am-5.30pm
Thursday, 8am-8pm
Saturday, 8.30am-1pm.

There is an out of hours service too. If you call when Wealden Tyres is closed their answer phone will give an out-of-hours number linking you to the company’s mobile service.
