Funding sought for all-weather sports pitch at Uckfield college

Funding is being sought to proceed with plans for an all-weather sports pitch at Uckfield Community Technology College.
The aim is to build it on the bottom field in the college grounds for use by the whole community.
A story on the UCTC website says it “will hopefully be in place in 2012”.
A competition is under way for primary school children and college students to design a logo for the new pitch and write a slogan for it.
Prizes are two £15 iTunes vouchers.
