Appetite the Uckfield takeaway is on the move to new premises
Appetite the Uckfield takeaway offering home-made breakfasts, lunches and snacks is on the move.
The business is going into Church Street to share the South Africa UK premises which are to be refurbished ready for opening next month.
Appetite, which is run by Barry Ashford and Arthur Mieczkowski, was launched last year at Pizza Zone in the High Street and now that the takeaway is established they are looking forward to the move which will give them more space.
Arthur owns South Africa UK and used to live above the shop but is moving to a new flat with his wife Ruzanne and two children.
“This means the whole premises are available and while Arthur plans to continue running South Africa UK there will be room for Appetite to move in as well,” said Barry’s partner Elizabeth Buckley.
She said they were hoping to have some seating for customers too. “We have a very good customer base now, hence we are pleased to be able to stay in the same area of town. We are very excited about the move,” Elizabeth added.
