Part of Lime Tree Avenue could be realigned to make way for homes

Plans to build new homes in Downsview Crescent and realign part of Lime Tree Avenue, Uckfield, are before Wealden Council.

One of the two new homes, next to number 6 Downsview Crescent near the entrance to Uckfield Community Technology College, would be built on the path that is part of Lime Tree Avenue.

The proposal is to build a new path closer to the community college grounds, allowing it to revert to the existing route further down the avenue.

Parking spaces would be provided at the bottom of gardens for numbers 6, 6a and 6b with access from an existing parking space which is reached via Lime Close.

Documents related to the planning application can be seen on the Wealden Council website.
