Blackboys School plans extension
New office accommodation could be provided at Blackboys School overlooking the playground and main entrance.
A major building project was completed at the school in 2006 but this plan is for a single storey room offering 8.2 sq m to floor space.
A planning application before Wealden Council says the entrance to the new extension would be next to the main entrance of the school under the primary staircase with a reception hatch providing child and disabled access to the reception area.
A new window would overlook the playground and main entrance from School Road.
The school's website carries stories and video clips about the previous building project.
Update:
Saturday, July 3: This planning application has been approved by Wealden Council.
