Buxted set to get new homes

Permission for 67 new homes to be built on land west of Church Road, Buxted, is likely to be given today.

The Rydon Homes' scheme is recommended for approval at a meeting of Wealden District Council's plans (north) committee.

Twenty of the homes would be "affordable housing".

Two pieces of land have been set aside for 2,000 sq metres of business space and an an area for a doctor's surgery.
