Wealden Citizens Advice plan merger with county-wide consortium
Wealden Citizens Advice which has bureaux in Uckfield, Crowborough and Hailsham looks set to merge with a county-wide consortium.
The Wealden trustee board has agreed, in principle, the merger with Citizens Advice East Sussex.
A consultant was employed to consider and advise on the implications.
A report to Uckfield Town Council says the Wealden trustee board has offered to talk to the council about reasons for the merger.
The report says district councils in East Sussex have been contacted for their views and other trustee boards must also agree for the merger to move ahead.
