Plans to convert Uckfield rest home

Moves have been made to replace an existing planning permission to convert a rest home in Snatts Road, Uckfield, into five homes.
An application to convert Charlwood Manor was approved following an appeal in January 1997 and a new application, for the same number of homes, has now been made.
The application has been made by Mr Jerry Gadsby-Houlton and will be considered by Wealden Council.
UPDATE: This planning application has since been approved.
