Developer offers to buy land at Hunters Way, Uckfield
A 'local developer' has approached Uckfield Town Council about the possibility of buying land at the entrance to Hunters Way in Uckfield.
The approach was reported to a meeting of the council's environment and leisure committee last month.
Members agreed to appoint the district valuer to value the land.
At the same meeting it was reported that three expressions of interest had been received to rent, lease or buy land next to 22 Hughes Way, running parallel with North Row.
Councillors agreed to seek a valuation for that land too.
