New use proposed for doctors' surgery at Buxted
The doctors’ surgery at Buxted could be used as a base for medical therapies such as osteopathy, acupuncture and dentistry once a new health centre opens in the village.
A planning application for the future use of April Cottage in the High Street, Buxted, has been submitted to Wealden District Council by Dr Clarissa Fabre.
She says both floors would be used for medical therapies such as osteopathy, acupuncture and dentistry. There would be a receptionist’s room, waiting room and consulting rooms “precisely as currently used”.
The application says the doctors’ practice is due to move to new premises in April/May 2012 and the new use is proposed from the date of the move.
