Estate agents to take over former Halifax premises in Uckfield

Estate agents Dixon Vince are taking over the former Halifax premises on the corner of Church Street and High Street, Uckfield.

They hope to move mid-summer after the premises have been refurbished.

Partner Lance Dixon says they have occupied 168 High Street, since buying Siberrys three-and-a-half years ago.

The move will give them a bigger office at a more prestigious location and enable clients’ properties to be seen with greater clarity in sweeping window displays.

Mr Dixon said: “We have done very well through the recession. I am a firm believer in a small independent company being able to pull through a difficult financial environment when bigger corporates possibly struggle with higher overheads.

“Our marketing is just as powerful and we are able to provide more personal attention.”

Working in partnership with Mr Dixon is Julian Vince. Both have about 30 years of experience in estate agency. They have two members of staff who have been with Dixon Vince since the company was formed and worked for Siberrys before that.
