The search for new foster carers continues later this month with an information and recruitment event in Uckfield.
As part of East Sussex County Council’s on-going recruitment campaign, staff from the various teams in the council’s Looked After Children’s Service will be at the event on Thursday, June 30.
Staff will be on hand to chat, answer questions and provide information from 1pm to 8pm in the Uckfield Civic Centre.
Anyone wanting more information about how they could help a child in need of care can drop in anytime and to talk to staff from Fostering, Adoption, Supported Lodgings and the Children's Disability, Short Breaks and Fostering Service about the different options that are available.
