Man-made greenhouse gases may have contributed to Uckfield floods

Man-made greenhouse gases may have contributed to the devastating floods that hit Uckfield in 2000.

According to Sky News, scientists at the University of Oxford have studied the flooding for seven years.

They say that although the heavy persistent rain could have occurred naturally, it is “highly likely” that greenhouse gases were partly to blame.

The broadcast report featured footage of Uckfield.
