Grasshoppers' new building hopes
Young footballers could have a new changing building at the Harlands Estate pitch, Uckfield, in time for the new season if planning permission is given.
The proposed building would have changing and tea-making facilities, Lorraine Jackson from the Grasshoppers told a recent meeting of Uckfield Town Council's environment and leisure committtee.
The club plans to use a pitch for two to three hours on a Saturday morning for players under ten years.
Buxted Football Club have also asked if they could use the pitch and councillors agreed it could be available for them after 1pm if that would fit in with their league.
