Students recycle plastic bottles to make greenhouses
Students at Uckfield Community Technology College have recycled thousands of plastic bottles turning them into two greenhouses.
Each greenhouse is made from about 1500 empty two litre bottles, individually washed with labels removed, cut and threaded onto canes to make the walls and roof.
The walls were built inside timber frames with wood and tools donated by Parker Building Supplies, Uckfield.
One of the greenhouses is being used at the college and the other was donated to Buxted School as a prize for the primary school collecting most bottles.
