Plans for gym and studio at Cysleys Farm, Uckfield

Two units at Cysleys Farm in Eastbourne Road, Uckfield, currently used as storage and office space, could be converted to a gym and studio.

The plans have been submitted to Wealden Council by The Health Boutique which provides physiotherapy, weight loss coaching, personal training and small group exercise classes.

Russell Shingles, from The Health Boutique, says in a letter accompanying a planning application that he wants to develop his GP referral scheme and run cardiac rehab classes/course which are not currently available in Uckfield.

One of the two units, Unit 4, would be a gym area with equipment including three treadmills, three cross trainers, three bikes, seven resistance machines and some free weights.

Unit 2 would be open studio space for physio rehab and consultation space for clients with her needs such as GP referral, neuro physio clients or cardiac rehab.
