Chance to join guided tours of Uckfield nature reserve
Guided walks will be given on the Hempstead Meadows Nature Reserve in Uckfield on Saturday from 10.30am to 1pm.
There will also be a display of information about the reserve, and others in town, and refreshments will be offered by the Rotary Club in a marquee.
The reserve entrance is behind the Co-op car park and during the walks there will be the chance to see a migratory fish pass, greater tussock sedge, a primeval marsh, stickleback pools, wild flowers, rare black poplars, butterflies and much more.
