Hospice shop to open next week
The new St Wilfrid's Hospice shop at the former Widget and Dibber premises at 25 High Street, Uckfield, is due to open on Friday, April 30, at 10am.
It will be called Vintage Emporium and will sell a range of antiquities, collectables, rare and unique books along with "weird and wonderful" vintage clothes and accessories, according to Majda Pehlic, fundraising media and marketing co-ordinator.
Uckfield mayor Cllr Len Ashby and DJ Ambrose Harcourt, who made his name on local radio as Mr Lurve, will attend the opening.
