Plans for house in Uckfield garden
Plans have been submitted to build a two-bedroom house in the garden of number 23 Montacute Way, Uckfield.
The corner garden is at the entrance of a cul-de-sac off Downsview Crescent on the Manor Park Estate.
Documents submitted with the planning application, to Wealden Council, by Mr M. Palmer say: 'The site offers the chance to provide an additional dwelling with a reasonable garden without unduly compromising the character of the locality or the amenities of neighbouring properties.'
The house would be set back from the front line of houses in Montacute Way and following the line of Downsview Crescent. The west end would also be behind the front line of houses to the south of the development site in Woodlands Close adjoining the cul-de-sac.
