Potential housing sites identified
Sites with potential for housing development in Uckfield have been revealed by Wealden Council.
The council has assessed land in towns and villages across the district and the results are published today. A link to the full report is added below.
Sites considered in Uckfield range from a green amenity area on the Hempstead Fields estate to more than 80 hectares of land at Ridgewood Farm, Lewes Road, Ridgewood, assessed with potential for 1,000 homes.

The report also mentions sites which were suggested for assessment but discarded because they were not capable of accommodating the minimum six homes.
Sites already within the planning process are also listed, split into large sites and small sites.
