Le Tennis proposes build "quality tennis facility" in Uckfield

The Maresfield-based Le Tennis club is talking to Uckfield Town Council about buiding a "quality tennis facility" at the Victoria Ground.
The area to be used would be that covered by current tennis and basketball courts.
The proposals would require "a small financial contribution from the council" though the value of the land contributed by the town council would need to be considered, according to a council report.
Members of the town councillors' environment and leisure committee have agreed to continue discussions with Le Tennis about their proposals.
