Santa tours Uckfield streets
Santa has begun touring Uckfield streets in a sleigh ... with a little bit of help from Uckfield Lions.
He started his rounds on Sunday straight after the Sussex Bonfire Carol Concert at Holy Cross Church.
Nearly £30,000 has been raised by Santa Sleigh collections since 2002. The money helps the Lions continue their work in the community.
The Lions club is urging householders only to give money to collectors carrying a Lions collecting tin and wearing yellow tabards with the Lions logo and the Uckfield and District Lions wording on a label.
They have warned via the Sussex Express of rogue street collectors in Uckfield.
See the Lions own website for dates and times of visits.
Thanks to Ron Hill for the photograph.
