The meeting is due to take place in the Council Chamber at the Civic Centre, at 7.30pm.
A deputy mayor is also due to be elected and members appointed to serve on committees.
The present mayor is Cllr John Carvey and the deputy mayor is Cllr Duncan Bennett. Read more about them on the town council website.
A review of members allowances is also to be considered but the recommendation from the Wealden Parish Remunderation Panel is that there is no increase in basic and chairman's allowances or subsistence allowances.
