Uckfield Mayor's allowance could be increased at meeting tonight
Uckfield Town Council is to consider increasing the mayor's allowance.
This is one of the items on the agenda of the council's general purposes committee which meets tonight.
Reports from The Hub, energy and sustainability and Luxfords Restaurant working groups are also to be considered - though the update on the operation of the restaurant is to be given in a confidential section of the meeting, once press and public have been excluded.
Budgets are on the agenda and so is a recommendation of the environment and leisure committee to take about £300 from reserves to pay for electricity used for CCTV cameras this year.
The meeting is to take place at 7.30pm in The Council Chamber at the Uckfield Civic Centre.
