Protest over plans for apartments in Mill Drove, Uckfield
About 55 people gathered on Tuesday evening to protest about plans to build five apartments in Mill Drove, Uckfield.
Residents were particularly concerned about loss of land they described as a wildlife site and a lack of parking provision in the plans.
Mrs Chris Tindley said: "We needed a strong local crowd to come and show their support against urban development on wildlife sites and we were very pleased with the local support and turn out tonight."
