Plans to split one Nevill Road, Uckfield, home into two

Retrospective planning permission is being sought to split one home into two in Neville Road, Uckfield.

Documents submitted with a planning application before Wealden Council say numbers 67 and 69 Nevill Road were originally built as two separate properties in a terrace of four but at some stage an archway was knocked through the party wall.

“The current proposal seeks to block up the archway and convert the property back to two separate properties as they were originally built,” says the design and access statement.

Number 67 will have a lounge/dining room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms while number 69, where there is a rear extension, will have an open-plan lounge/dining room/kitchen, ground floor WC utility room, bathroom and three bedrooms.

Both homes have rear gardens and a parking space in the neighbouring parking area.

The planning application, number WD/2011/1661/FR, was submitted by Mr and Mrs M. Kitchener.
