Uckfield's Holy Cross Church clock is back in action
The clock at Holy Cross Church, Uckfield, is back in action after restoration. Workmen reinstalled the faces last week in time for Remembrance Sunday.
It has been fitted with an electric automatic winding mechanism, a pendulum regulator and a night silencer.
Steeplejacks hit problems when they originally tried to remove the clock faces and hands but managed to complete the task once scaffolding was in place.
