Organic cafe gets planning permission to open in Uckfield
Plans for an organic cafe in the parade of shops between Uckfield Electrics and the Post Office in Uckfield have been approved by Wealden Council.
The building at 71 High Street is currently empty but used to be occupied by JJ Furnishings.
Also approved is an application to build one detached and one pair of semi-detached homes on land last used as a smallholding in Snatts Road, Uckfield. The site is on the eastern side of the road between Downland Close to the west and Campbell Close to the east. The plans were submitted by the estate of the late Mr J.L. Revell.
Among other plans approved is one to build a new home attached to 61 Manor Way, Uckfield.
