Flats to go on former play centre site
Planning permission has been granted for a three-storey building containing offices and flats on the site of the former Pandamonium indoor play centre in Uckfield.
Wealden District Council has approved the development at 64 Framfield Road.
Objections included the increased traffic and on-road parking, dangerous road conditions, loss of light, daylight and privacy, loss of view and a claim the development was out of scale for the area.
The existing industrial building on the site was used in recent years as an indoor children's play centre.
