Uckfield's Claire helps build peace in Israel and Palestine
The owner of an Uckfield bookkeeping company will be running in the London 10k on Sunday to raise funds for a charity which works with children and teenagers in Israel and Palestine and funds peace-building projects.
Claire Packham, pictured here, is treasurer of the international charity Children of Peace which has its headquarters in Quarry House, Mill Lane, Uckfield.
Claire's business, Team 4 Solutions, is also based in Mill Lane. She lives in Heathfield with her teenage son.
"I do run to keep fit but I've never attempted a race before and certainly nothing as big as this event," said Claire.
She said Children of Peace funds sport, art and education projects to bring together children in Israel and Palestine.
