New Uckfield and East Grinstead railway lines guide launched
A new edition of the Uckfield and East Grinstead railway lines guide has been launched.
Now in its fourth edition, the guide gives information about the towns and communities along the routes.
It will help local people and tourists plan a day out or even a longer holiday by rail.
Sam Bryant, Senior Development Officer, Sussex Community Rail Partnership, said: “The lines really are a wonderful way to get out and about and access lots of wonderful local attractions.”
A hard copy of the guide can be found at local libraries or stations along the lines.
The launch took place on the Bluebell Railway platform at East Grinstead.
The Mayor of Uckfield, Cllr John Carvey, was at the ceremony along with other dignitaries, members of the community rail partnership as well as the Bluebell Railway representatives.
