Uckfield Remembers the Fallen

There will be a parade followed by a service of remembrance at Holy Cross Church, Uckfield, on Remembrance Sunday (November 14)

The parade will form at the north end of the Luxford Field car park and will proceed to Holy Cross Church for the remembrance service via the High street.

After the service and laying of wreaths the parade will reform and return to Luxford Field car park where it will disperse.

The detailed itinerary is:

2.15pm Guests and participants meet at Luxford Field car park

2.25pm Parade forms up

2.35pm Parade moves off for Holy Cross Church

3pm Remembrance Service at Holy Cross Church

3.50pm Exit from church/wreath laying at the memorial

4.10pmParade forms and returns to Luxford Field car park.

*11-11-11 commemorations are held to coincide with the anniversary of the end of World War 1 when the guns fell silent at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918.
