Road works expected in Downsview Crescent, Uckfield

Road works are expected to take place in Downsview Crescent, Uckfield, over two days starting on Monday, August 22.

Red anti-skid surfacing and associated school road markings are to be renewed.

Temporary traffic lights will be used and there will be on-street parking restrictions while the work is carried out between Southview Drive and Browns Lane.

East Sussex Highways, a partnership between East Sussex County Council and May Gurney, has distributed leaflets in the area giving advance warning of the road works.

It says the work may have to be delayed in periods of wet weather but signs on site will warn of date changes.
