Approval sought for Sandpits switch
Rydon Homes is seeking to make changes to the way it develops the Sandpits site off the Lewes Road, Uckfield.
It wants to build the majority of the affordable housing on the site in phase one.
As a result the mix of affordable homes changes from ten houses and eight flats to three houses and 15 flats.
Wealden District Council's plans committee (north) is being recommended to approve the change at its meeting on Thursday, August 27.
A total of 60 homes has previously been approved for the whole development. The change sought by Rydon does not alter the total number of homes to be built.
