Snatts Road homes plan
Six new homes are planned for Snatts Road, Uckfield.
Wealden District Council is considering a planning application for the three-bedroom, semi-detached homes on land to the north of a property known as Hedgerows.
A statement lodged in support of the application says the site represents what could be seen as the last remaining undeveloped section of land within the Uckfield development boundary.
“We feel that three bedroom homes with good accommodation would satisfy the needs of a wide range of families and be the most appropriate type of property for the location.
“The houses fit well within the site and allow for the spacious access road, parking areas and generous soft landscaping,” the statement says.
Wealden planning reference: WD/2010/2606/F. The applicant is West Construction of Dormans Park, near East Grinstead.
