Hospice to take over former Widget and Dibber shop

Hospice to take over former Widget and Dibber shop

St Wilfrid's Hospice is taking over the former Widget and Dibber shop in Uckfield High Street.

It used to have smaller premises further north up the High Street a few years ago but left when the lease came to an end.

Richard Oldfield of Lawson Commercial said he was pleased to be able to let the former Widget and Dibber premises at 25 High Street to the charity. The shop was much larger and better positioned than the one it used to have.

The asking rent of £16,500 a year was achieved for this 600 sq ft unit which is just a few yards from WH Smith and Currys.
