TJ Barbers Shop gets a facelift
TJ Barbers Shop at 8 Church Street, Uckfield, has been given a facelift. The interior has been re-decorated and new flooring laid.
Owner Steve Smallwood, who is delighted with the result, said TJ’s provide traditional short haircuts as well as contemporary, longer and trendy styles together with a quality relaxed but professional service and atmosphere.
He added: “We’re very pleased with the redecoration. We wanted to freshen the shop up and update it without making our customers feel awkward or that they had walked into a different place.”
TJ’s caters for all ages from the very young having their first trim through to the more mature gent and, due to ever increasing popularity, strive to have three barbers available every day to keep waiting times to a minimum.
Opening hours are Monday, 7am-5pm; Tuesday, 8.30am-5pm; Wednesday, 7am-7pm; Thursday, 8.30am-5pm, Friday, 8.30am-5pm and Saturday, 7.30am-3pm. Their contact details can be found here in our Uckfield Directory.
Steve is pictured here, left, with Joe Mclean and Alex Wright. Other barbers at TJ's but not in the picture are Martyn Wade and Sharon Duly. Between them the team have nearly 90 years of hairdressing experience.
