Just how bad is town centre traffic in Uckfield? The county council says the situation could soon become unmanageable and is thinking of building a new road.

The county council is considering a package of measures to prevent the centre of town becoming gridlocked. They include building a new road either north or south of Bell Lane, Uckfield.
