Adventurer raises £5,000 for charity

Adventurer Will Miles has seen sights and done things most of us only see in a Michael Palin TV travel documentary.

The 29-year-old from Halland is back behind his desk at Miles Property Management after successfully taking part in this year’s Mongol rally.

He and four others - Chris Hutcheson, Anas Zabadbe, James Taylor and Brett Parsons – drove two ancient Suzuki Jimnys 10,000 miles from Goodwood in West Sussex to the capital of Mongolia, Ulaan Baatar.

They have raised around £5,000 for the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation which is dedicated to helping children in need with education, medical care, social opportunities, and job placement. The foundation has a project in Mongolia.

Their route took them through France, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Mongolia.
