Caroline is new president of Uckfield Lions' Club
New president of Uckfield Lions' Club is Caroline Hicks. She is pictured, above left, with Lynne Ireland the retiring president.
The handover of the chain of office took place on Sunday.
Another successful year was reported by Lynne who thanked the people of Uckfield for continuing support which enabled them to help local and international causes.
The club has been running for 43 years and increasing calls on them for service and assistance sees them striving to raise increasing amounts of money.
Their latest project to raise funds is a second-hand book shop at Bridge Cottage in Uckfield High Street.
