Uckfield's Rocks Park School cooks up some pancake fun
Pupils at Rocks Park School, Uckfield, each made a pancake at last week’s Pancake-a-thon.
More than 200 mini-pancakes were made throughout the day and filled with the pupil's choice of toppings for example bananas, yogurt, sugar, lemon and honey.
The event was organised by Let's Get Cooking organisers Mrs Sue Walter and Mrs Linda Smith and helped by Year 6 pupils.
As a climax to the day, Year 6 pupils - Josh, Louis, Freya and Abigail armed with frying pans, donned aprons and chef's hats and had an exciting pancake race, encouraged by Years 5/6.
