Seagulls tickets win delights Uckfield youngster and mother
Rocks Park School, Uckfield, kicked off its Olympic Year with a sports-themed raffle organised by the Friends of the School Association.
Six-year-old Sophie Burchett from Year 1 was the first prize winner of a pair of much sought after Brighton and Hove Albion home match tickets.
She and her mum, Caroline Burchett, were thrilled with their prize and are now looking forward to seeing the Seagulls in action.
Albion fan, headteacher Chris Davey, made the draw dressed in the club’s “away” shirt, much to the delight of the children.
Other prizes included day passes and personal training sessions from East Sussex National Golf Club and Health Spa, an England shirt from Final Score sports shop, lessons with Le Tennis, Le Football and Emma's Swim School.
The school were delighted to make £300 and thanked Brighton and Hove Albion and all the local clubs and businesses who donated prizes.
