Young designers have chance to win cash for Uckfield school

Children are being invited to enter a competition to design a Christmas card for an Uckfield firm and win £150 cash for their school.
The winning drawing will appear on cards to be sent to all clients of Private Wealth Management, an independent company specialising in financial and lifestyle planning.
Managing director Mark Robinson said more than 100 children entered a similar competition last year and he was so pleased with the results that he had decided to run another one.
“We were able to send out Christmas cards carrying an individual design last year while at the same time benefitting a local school. We were all winners and that’s why we are running the competition again,” said Mr Robinson.
Application forms are going out to primary schools in Uckfield and surrounding villages. The closing date for entries is November 11.
The winner will receive the £150 for their school and a £25 Argos voucher for themselves. They will also receive a pack of ten of the cards to send to their family and friends.
Ten finalists will each receive a Crayola Mosaic Madness Art Set.
