Ellie's card wins £150 for school
Young Christmas card designer Ellie Burnham was in the spotlight at Manor Primary School in Uckfield yesterday(Thursday, December 16) during a special presentation ceremony.
Ellie was one of 100 children who entered a contest to design a company card for the Uckfield firm Private Wealth Management.
Ten finalists were chosen by judges and eventually Ellie’s picture was declared the winner. She can be seen here with her prizes.
Among them were a £150 cheque for her school, a Crayola Colour Explosion Glow Dome, a Crayola 75-piece stationery set and ten cards carrying her winning picture which she can send to her own friends.
All the finalists won a 75-piece stationery set and eight of them are pictured here with head teacher Margaret Coleman and managing director of Private Wealth Management Mark Robinson.

The two other finalists were Josie Ramel from Framfield school and Ella Ranson from Fletching school.
The card Ellie designed has been sent out to clients of Private Wealth Management and each one carries her name.
Mr Robinson said he thoroughly enjoyed running the Christmas card competition. “It was a treat looking through all the entries and very difficult to choose the winner but we are pleased to feature Ellie’s picture on our cards," he said.
“Thank you to all the children who took part and thank you to Manor School for hosting the presentation ceremony.”
