Uckfield dance school expands across East Sussex
Fast-growing Universal Dance which launched with classes in the Uckfield area now also runs groups in the Lewes, Ringmer and Eastbourne area.
New street dance, contemporary dance and ballet teachers will be running classes from September onwards in Lewes and Uckfield areas and Jess Lloyd has joined the school as artistic director.
Universal Dance, which was founded by Lindsay Hay, will be holding auditions in the New Year to form two elite dance companies, one contemporary and one street dance.
A performance team has also been launched called Global which will be available to perform at leisure and corporate events.
Global is due make its debut during the Uckfield Carnival procession on the evening of Saturday, September 3.
Other performers from Universal Dance will take part in the carnival children’s procession which starts at 1.30pm that day.
