Old picture of snowy Uckfield
Would anyone like to hazard a guess at when this photograph of a snowy Uckfield High Street was taken?

Ron Hill was the photographer. He points out the King's Head pub, on the left, before it became the Cinque Ports Club. Next door was Clark ironmongers, now Luna.
The vehicle on the right is a milk float. "Nothing stopped them in those days," said Ron.
The second of the other vehicles looks like a Morris Minor and Ron thinks the first might have been a Renault but he's not sure.
