Chance to raise funds for charity while eating pink smartie cookies
An Uckfield takeaway is marking Breast Awareness Month by decorating cookies with pink smarties and donating a percentage of the sale price to charity.
Appetite, which is based at the top of town in premises belonging to Pizza Zone, will be giving 6p from the 60p they receive for each cookie to Breakthrough Breast Cancer which is committed to fighting breast cancer through research, campaigning and education.
Elizabeth Buckley said the pink smartie cookies would be available until the end of October throughout Breast Awareness Month.
