Pictures from Uckfield Bonfire and Carnival children's parade
Uckfield Bonfire and Carnival Society staged its biggest-ever children's parade on Saturday and crowds lined the streets to cheer on participants.
There were dancers from Debs Dancers and Universal Dance, the Holy Cross Scout Band, drummers and stilt walkers from the Uckfield Community Technology College Spiritus group and children in fancy dress.
Bonfire society secretary Carol Watts-Arnold said afterwards said she was particularly pleased to see Uckfield schools taking part in the parade.
Rocks Park, Manor, Harlands and Holy Cross were all involved.
Carol said: "There were some really lovely home-made costume and we were pleased Captain Jack Sparrow - of the film Pirates of the Caribbean fame - came along to present prizes."
