Dinner lady celebrates 25 years at Holy Cross School, Uckfield
School dinner lady Brenda Oram has celebrated 25 years working at Holy Cross School in Uckfield.
Her special treat was a school lunch of lasagne and toffee pudding, served by Year 6 children, while being serenaded by some of the school's violinists.
Also there was Mrs Oram's daughter and her granddaughter. They watched as she was presented with gifts from staff, parents and governors to thank her for loyal service, past, present and future.
Mrs Oram said: "I love this school, the children, the staff, which is why I've kept coming back for 25 years.

Below she is presented with flowers by pupil Katie while Mr Heath looks on.
