Maresfield Lawn Bowls Club celebrates opening of club house
Maresfield Lawn Bowls Club celebrated the opening of a new club house on Saturday.
Veteran Ron Ovens cut a ceremonial ribbon and was granted honorary life membership of the club in recognition of more than 20 years service.
The new club house replaced one built in 1953. It is within Maresfield Recreation Ground next to Maresfield High Street.
In our pictures, taken by Ron Hill, are firstly president Audry Walsham, veteran Ron Ovens and chairman Roy Easterbrook.
Below that club members can be seen outside the new building.
